RBIJ Expands Advisory Council

Washington, D.C., Jan. 11– The Responsible Business Initiative for Justice (RBIJ) today announced the addition of four leaders in justice system reform and workforce inclusivity to its Advisory Council

Dr. Marvin D. Carr is the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Corporate Giving at Walmart and Director of the Walmart.org Center for Racial Equity, focused on creating systems change in the nation’s criminal justice system. He has worked with RBIJ on the Unlock Potential program, which helps employers use hiring and other resources to empower young people who are at-risk to access meaningful career opportunities. 

Michelle Cirocco is the Chief Social Responsibility Officer for Televerde and the Executive Director of Televerde Foundation, which provides currently and formerly incarcerated women the personal and professional development programs necessary to successfully join and advance in the global workforce. Along with bringing Televerde into the Workforce & Justice Alliance, Cirocco has been a critical partner in RBIJ’s policy reform, death penalty abolition, and Second Chance Hiring efforts.

Keilon Ratliff leads the development and execution of Kelly’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) Strategy, including programs and partnerships to attract and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce for Kelly and its clients. Ratliff has headed Second Chance Hiring programs such as Kelly 33 and has been an outspoken advocate for the business case for Second Chance Hiring.   

Jo-Ann Wallace is the President, CEO and Board Chair of NLADA Mutual Insurance Co., RRG, an insurance and risk management firm dedicated to the unique needs of the equal justice community and an advocate for justice and equity within the insurance industry. She works with RBIJ to support policy reform and inclusive workforce development efforts as part of the Workforce & Justice Alliance.
